There’s a chance–albeit a slight one–that the Houston Texans can draft Fresno State QB Derek Carr to be the future of their team, over a decade after they selected his older brother, David, as the first ever draft pick of the franchise. Is there a chance that the two could ultimately play together in the National Football League? Well, probably not, but according to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle, if it was up to David, playing with his brother would be the only way he’d return to the rigors of the NFL–to be his back up.
David Carr's ideal situation is signing with #NFL team that drafts younger brother, Derek, and backing him up. Both are comfortable with it.

It wouldn’t exactly be like Peyton and Eli Manning playing together, but it still would be an interesting scenario to watch play out. Might even help the progression of Derek having his brother around, someone that he’s comfortable with.
It’d be more interesting if the team they played on together actually was the Texans.
