Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is among quarterback Matt Cassel’s fans. He apparently “would love” to re-sign Cassell, but is unsure if it will happen.

There were rumblings that the Houston Texans would like to sign Matt Cassel to solve their quarterback woes and pick a different player with the No. 1 overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Fully expect Matt Cassel to hit the open market March 11. He's still been talking to MIN but nothing close. I anticipate he lands in Houston
