Without a doubt, Ohio State Buckeyes QB Kenny Guiton was the best backup quarterback in college football in 2013. In the absence of Heisman hopeful Braxton Miller, Guiton handled the top-five ranked Buckeyes to near perfection, now it seems as if the New England Patriots want to see if he can do the same thing for them if called upon at the next level.

With each year that passes, the Patriots are more and more inclined to trade backup Ryan Mallett, meaning that they could indeed be in the market for a new backup for Tom Brady for the next few years to come, and there might not be a better option out there than Guiton.
Guiton isn’t expected to be drafted, so if everything goes well with this workout, then you could look for the Pats to make a Free Agency move after the Draft is over.
In all the playing time that he saw last season, Guiton finished with 14 touchdowns and just two interceptions in helping keep Ohio State in national title contention.
