After Miami Heat forward LeBron James scored just 19 points on six-of-18 shooting in a 111-87 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, James expressed his displeasure with the NBA’s sleeved jerseys, which the Heat wore Thursday night.
“I’m not making excuses, but I’m not a big fans of the jerseys,” James told ESPN.com. “Every time I shoot it feels like it’s just pulling right up underneath my arm. I already don’t have much room for error on my jump shot. It’s definitely not a good thing.”
The Oklahoma City Thunder also often wear sleeved jerseys, so forward Kevin Durant was asked if he had similar thoughts on the uniforms.
KD on sleeves: "I don’t mind. I play in T-shirts. I played in hoodies before. So it don’t matter. Just give us a basketball. We’ll go play."
