The New Orleans Saints have parted ways with running back Darren Sproles and running back Pierre Thomas’ roster spot is in jeopardy as well. There have been reports that he is being shopped around.
That leads ESPN’s Louis Riddick to suggest that the 2014 season will be all about running back Khiry Robinson.
Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram also '15 UFA's just like Sproles would have been. Going to be the Khiry Robinson show for #Saints in '14.

Not going to re-sign both. Would not be surprised to see Thomas shown the door too before this off-season is over.

Robinson had 54 carries for 224 yards, a solid 4.1 yards per carry average. What might be more interesting is the fact that he has zero receiving statistics from his rookie season in the pass heavy offense. The Saints might be thinking that is an area he can succeed and they’ll incorporate him more in the 2014 season.
