Bears have not asked WR Earl Bennett to take a pay cut, yet
By Mike Dyce

As teams around the league structure deals left and right, players are waiting for that phone call. Chicago Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett was a candidate to restructure his deal, but he hasn’t been approached yet according to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.
#Bears have not asked WR Earl Bennett to take pay cut. '14 cap number is $2.450 million. This is always subject to change. #nflfreeagency.

Bennett caught 32 passes for 243 yards and dropped down the targets list with the emergence of Alshon Jeffery. Tight end Martellus Bennett has proven to be a reliable threat in the passing game finishing third in receiving yards behind only Jeffery and Marshall.
Earl Bennett did finish fifth on receiving yards and third for a wide receiver, but with Jeffery and Marshall on the field any player might be able to replicate those kind of numbers. If the Bears ask Bennett to restructure his deal, FanSided will cover it, so stay tuned.
