Eli Manning had the roughest outing of his career in 2013. The New York Giants were left out of the postseason and that was due in large part from a lot of sub-par play from Manning, including tossing more interceptions than he probably would have liked. Actually, a lot more. But, it’s the offseason now, meaning that it’s time for Manning to gather himself and just relax.
Relax is exactly what he did recently as he got on stage at Mardi Gras recently and seemed to have more fun doing that than anything that he did in the 2013 NFL season.
A lot more fun.
That’s a bit of a different look from the youngest Manning, but it’s a more welcoming sight than to see him walking off the field after tossing another ball to the team that’s not clad in blue.
Maybe this fun offseason time will help him forget what happened in 2013 and move into 2014 with a new boost of confidence.
And if you don’t think something like this can be a boost to your confidence, you try going up there.
