The Miami Dolphins are looking for a complete culture change thanks to the horrific bullying scandal that rocked their locker room, but they just generally need to improve their roster as well. Bullying scandal or not, this offseason was going to be spent improving what should be a much better roster and one player that could help the team is Maurice Jones-Drew.

According to ESPN.com scribe James Walker, the Dolphins could take a look at Maurice Jones-Drew in free agency.

"Running back should be a priority for Miami, but not at the top of the list. So don’t expect a big-ticket item like Ben Tate from the Houston Texans to join the Dolphins. But the Dolphins could go the cheaper route and get a second-tier running back. I tend to think Maurice Jones-Drew could still have something in the tank if he stays healthy. Otherwise, the draft has a few quality options, as well."

This would be an intriguing option, especially if the Dolphins pair him with a back from the draft. Miami won’t be jumping out and buying high on a running back early in free agency, but it’s clear that they’ll at least be kicking tires.
