
The Chicago Bears were busy on the eve of free agency beginning in Tuesday afternoon releasing tight end Dante Rosario, putting Julius Peppers on the trading block and lastly releasing reserve running back Michael Bush, reported first by Chicago Tribune Bears reporter Brad Biggs.

The Bears may look to the NFL draft to find a backup to do-it-all starter Matt Forte and after addressing their number of needs on defense could target a player like De’Anthony Thomas or Jeremy Hill, a player similarly built like Bush, who are projected to be available in the middle rounds where the team may address the position.
As for Bush, he may have to wait a long time in what is a brutal market for free agent running backs.
