NFL Rumors: Panthers are attempting to trade WR Steve Smith

The Carolina Panthers are reportedly shopping around shopping around wide receiver Steve Smith. His cap number is $7 million, and at age 34, he is a hard sell to a potential team.
Smith did lead all receivers in 2013, catching 64 passes for 745 yards. So he isn’t exactly over the hill, he is still capable of producing.
The #Panthers are attempting to trade WR Steve Smith, per source. Given his $7M cap number and age (34), seems unlikely.
