2014 NFL free agency rumors: Colts expected to sign Arthur Jones for $6-7 million

Free agent defensive lineman Arthur Jones has been linked to a number of teams from around the league, but on Monday afternoon the Indianapolis Colts began to emerge as a favorite to land his services.

Now, as the NFL free agency period rapidly approaches, it is looking more and more likely that Jones will in fact call Indianapolis his new home.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Jones is expected to sign with the Colts for $6-7 million annually.

If the Colts are able to pull off signing Jones for less than $8 million per year, they should consider it a big win. Jones looked like he had a red hot market early in the negotiation period and signing him for $6-7 million would be a huge discount.
