Darren Sproles finds out Saints are trying to trade him on Twitter

There was a thought for a few days that New Orleans Saints RB Darren Sproles would be cut. That all seemed to change recently as news broke tonight that the trade market was strong for him so the team would not release him.

There is nothing wrong with that right? Well it turns out that Sproles didn’t know the team’s plans and found out he was in trade talks via Twitter:

The team should have found a way to inform him that he was being discussed in trades. Going forward teams are going to have to be more proactive about this stuff to prevent these types of messy situations.
