The Chicago Bears have moved on from the Devin Hester era of the team’s franchise and while they were good and memorable years, they’re now in the past. But Hester is focusing on his future and where that may take him, as numerous teams have shown an interest in Hester since word got out that the Bears were letting him go.
One of those teams is the Kansas City Chiefs. Interest from the Chiefs in Hester was brought up last week and reiterated today ahead of the official start of free agency.
A person with knowledge of the situation tells me the #Chiefs indeed have interest in Devin Hester. But a lot of teams do.

Adding Hester is a one-dimensional move for the Chiefs, who would effectively be replacing Dexter McCluster’s return game with Hester. That’s really the only purpose Hester would serve though as he never latched on as any kind of offensive threat and he’s 31 years old.
If he comes cheap, he’s a great signing by a Chiefs team looking to extra weapons, but the number of teams interested in him could push his price tag out of the Chiefs comfort zone.
