The Seattle Seahawks are experiencing what all teams who win the Super Bowl go through — teams trying to poach their free agents. Red Bryant was lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chicago Bears nearly wrestled Michael Bennett away from them and now wide receiver Golden Tate is drawing interest to the east of Seattle.

According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, the Detroit Lions are interested in pairing Golden Tate with Calvin Johnson.

Detroit was rumored to be interested in James Jones earlier on Tuesday morning and the team has made it no secret that they covet a wide receiver in free agency. Tate looks to be after some big bucks on the market and the Lions may not be able to break the bank to sign Tate.

If they buy high on someone though, it has to be a receiver and there are worse options to overpay for than Golden Tate.
