NFL Rumors: Hakeem Nicks wants to play with Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

While he has said that he’d be willing to return to the Big Apple on a one-year deal to prove that he still has it and the injury bug is gone, that’s still not to say that New York Giants free agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks wouldn’t be open to playing with anyone else, especially if he had the chance to play with one of the best young QBs in the game in Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.

"“Ideally, this is what I want,” Nicks said. “I want to go to a team where I’m the missing link. There are a number of teams that I have my eye on once I hit the market. I know if I went to a place like Indianapolis I would be dangerous with a quarterback like Andrew Luck."

As far as being the missing link, if Nicks is as healthy as he claims to be and is poised to return to his rookie form, he and Luck playing together in the already potent Colts offense would be a deadly combination, indeed.
