The Jets need offensive weapons.

Even though Maurice Jones-Drew may be on the back end of his career, he could help the New York Jets.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News is reporting that the Jets have strong interest in the Jags RB:

Jets need to bolster pass catchers, but they want to improve RBs too. #NYJ showing serious interest in Maurice Jones-Drew, per source.

Remember that when Rex Ryan had Thomas Jones he had quite the productive year. I could see similar results with Maurice Jones-Drew should the Jets land him.
