Ravens free agency rumors: Baltimore interested in Julian Edelman

The Baltimore Ravens have long been in search of a No. 2 wide receiver that could complement the speedy Torrey Smith on the outside, and it appears that they may have identified a potential free agent target that they will begin pursuing at 4 p.m. ET.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have shown some initial interest in New England Patriots free agent Julian Edelman.

Earlier this afternoon, it was reported that Edelman will test free agency and the Ravens could be an interesting fit.

If he doesn’t go back to the Patriots, you would have to imagine Edelman would want to join a team that would be in position to compete in either conference.
