
The Houston Texans have made an unexpected move ahead of free agency, they’ve released tight end Owen Daniels. It is some what interesting given their back up, Garrett Graham is also a free agent.

Owen Daniels had been with the team since 2006 when he was a fourth-round pick. This means they must be re-signing TE Garrett Graham.

Owen Daniels counted $6.25 million on the cap. He was scheduled to make $4.5 million. He's recovered from a fractured fibula.

The Baltimore Ravens could be a suitor with former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak on their staff.
Obviously, the Ravens will evaluate merits of Owen Daniels given his background with Gary Kubiak.
