Already having made a huge splash on the first day of Free Agency on Tuesday, the Denver Broncos may very well be poised to make another one on Wednesday as the team will look to have the recently-cut DeMarcus Ware signed and ready to go by close of business Wednesday, according to Pro Football Talk.
"Appearing on Wednesday’s edition of PFT Live, Vic Lombardi of CBS 4 in Denver said he’ll be surprised if the Broncos don’t sign Ware today."
Late on Tuesday evening, John Elway and the Broncos made waves when they signed free agent cornerback Aqib Talib to a tremendous six-year, $57 million deal, and signing Ware might automatically make them not only the front runners for the Super Bowl victory this upcoming season, but the owners of one of the best defenses in the league.
Ware is said to be looking for somewhere around $10 million a year, close to the 12.5 that he was going to be due from the Dallas Cowboys before they decided to cut him.
Word on Tuesday was that Ware wanted to make this a fast process, so we’ll see just how much he meant that.
