The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are spending big in free agency this offseason and they appear to show no signs of slowing. As for the Carolina Panthers, they’re purging just about every useful receiver off their roster as Brandon LaFell is in New England, Steve Smith is on his way out after a bumpy breakup and speedster Ted Ginn Jr is in Tampa Bay meeting with the Bucs.

According to NFL.com scribe Rick Storud, the Buccaneers are meeting with Ted Ginn and could end up signing him before the day is out.

The Buccaneers are also in on Steve Smith as well, which means they could logically end up with two of the Panthers best receivers to start 2014. They’ll likely only add one, but it’s clear that the Buccaneers are in the market for a speedy receiver and that may end up being Ted Ginn Jr.
