2014 NFL free agency: Jaguars sign Ziggy Hood
By Josh Sanchez
After winning their sixth Super Bowl in franchise history, the Pittsbugh Steelers held the No. 32 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and they used that pick on defensive end Ziggy Hood. Unfortunately, Hood has never really taken his game to the level that the Steelers were hoping for and he never became a difference maker.
Now, he has a new home.
On Thursday morning, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have acquired the former first-round pick.
Hood struggled against the run and pass during his time in Pittsburgh, but perhaps a change of scenery and Gus Bradley will be able to turn his career around.
