While it seemed coming into the Free Agency period that Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley would most certainly find a good new home with the world champion Seattle Seahawks, that process has hit a bump in the road as Finley has left Seattle without a contract, according to Pro Football Talk.
After missing a good amount of the 2013 season after suffering a severe spinal cord injury in October, it was time for Finley to move on from Green Bay. While some weren’t even sure if Finley would ever even play again, he met with doctors last weekend and was cleared to find himself a new place to play.
Seattle seemed like the perfect fit to make that happen, and that still has the chance to be the case.
But for now, the two apparently could not come to an agreement at this time, and there’s no word as to whether or not Finley has received some other significant interest.
