The New Orleans Saints and offensive lineman Zach Strief haven’t been able to reach a deal, but the two sides are still working on one. CBS’ Jason La Canfora reports that the two sides are getting close and he expects them to work out a deal.

While Strief has certainly generated interest around the league, it was reported on Friday that he was expected to re-sign with the New Orleans Saints by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.

And he declined a meeting with the Miami Dolphins.
Zach Strief, the top remaining free agent RT, informed the Dolphins that he has decided not to do a visit with them; no explanation given.
