The Kansas City Chiefs have been fairly quiet in free agency.
After a very successful season in their first year under Andy Reid, the Chiefs have to conserve money in order to pay several of their own players. They, of course, have lost out on some of their own free agents that they did not put as much of a priority on, as most successful teams do.
They did, however, make a move on Wednesday.
According to Aaron Wilson ofĀ The Baltimore SunĀ The National Football Post, the Chiefs have agreed to a contract with New England Patriotsā free agent defensive lineman Cory Grissom.
Grissom went undrafted in 2013 and wound up signing with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent. The former South Florida Bulls was placed on injured reserve after being hurt in the preseason.
The Patriots waived Grissom last week.
