The Pittsburgh Steelers parted ways with outside linebacker James Harrison who went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals. It looks like Harrison could be returning to the Steelers and there is reportedly mutual interest between the two sides.

From Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

"There is mutual attraction here and it’s quite possible Harrison will return to the Steelers for one more year. Both sides are being awfully quiet about it, but there have been talks about bringing Harrison back and I think it will happen."

It could be a good deal at the veteran’s minimum in which he would earn $955,000 in salary plus a $65,000 roster bonus and count only $635,000 against the salary cap. The downside is he is 36-years-old, but the Steelers are thin at the position and they need any help they can get. Pro Football Focus ranked Harrison as the second best linebacker for the Bengals in 2013.
