JJ Redick and Jamal Crawford return to practice for Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA for some time, but despite that highly impressive play, the club has been doing it without arguably their two best wing players. On Thursday, however, Doc Rivers and company got an injection of life, as both Jamal Crawford and JJ Redick returned to practice.
With all due respect to Jamal Crawford, who is reportedly set to return to the lineup on Saturday after a 5-game absence with a calf injury, the headline here is JJ Redick. The former Duke sharpshooter has been sidelined since February 3rd with a somewhat mysterious back injury, and there were real rumblings that Redick could possibly be forced to miss the entire season.
Both players provide floor spacing that Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and the Clippers offense desperately need, and with the way the rest of the team has been playing, it is no secret that Los Angeles has a legitimate title contender. Crawford and Redick won’t necessarily put them over the top, but they are undeniably better with the two of them on the wing, and it is nice to see the Clippers inching toward full strength again.
