A lot has been made about the Philadelphia Eagles and what they plan on doing with wide receiver DeSean Jackson. From trading him to keeping him or even cutting him, we’ve heard it all but it appears that getting rid of Jackson has been a goal for the Eagles since a month ago.

According to Jimmy Kempski, the Eagles have been decided on Jackson’s future with the team since at least February if not earlier than that.

Per PFT.com:

"According to Jimmy Kempski of Philly.com, citing a source close to the team, the Eagles ”decided to move on from Jackson well over a month ago, and possibly earlier.”"

This seems to make sense as we’ve been hearing rumblings about a potential move for about a month, except rumors have intensified since then. It wasn’t long ago that some Chiefs fans were mulling over the idea of trading for Jackson to pair him with Andy Reid, and while the rumors of Jackson’s exit from Philly weren’t started from that alone, it was an excellent precursor to what we’re all watching unfold now.
