2014 NFL Draft: Anthony Barr to meet Cowboys, Steelers, Titans and Vikings
UCLA Bruins’ linebacker Anthony Barr is one of the more intriguing prospects.
Last week a report surfaced that Barr would have a private workout with the Atlanta Falcons.
According to Ross Jones of Fox Sports, Barr will also meet with the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings.
“I know that meeting (with Atlanta) is on Saturday the 29th, but we’re still looking to confirm the location,” Barr said. “It will either be at UCLA or somewhere nearby.
“There have been a couple teams that have reached out. I have a couple visits. I’m going to Pittsburgh. I was going to go to Detroit, but I met with their GM the day before the pro day, so I don’t know if they think it’s necessary. I’m also meeting with the Cowboys, Titans and Vikings. Those are the few that stand out the most right now.”
Barr, who reportedly ran a 4.44 4o-yard dash at UCLA’s pro day, made 66 tackles, 20 for loss, and had 10 sacks for UCLA last season. He had 13.5 sacks in 2012.
