2014 NFL Draft: Ranking Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater after Pro Days

2 of 4

3) Teddy Bridgewater

Coming out of the college football season, Teddy B was seen by a lot of people as the overwhelming choice of the Houston Texans and Bill O’Brien with the top overall pick. However, the rapid emergence of Manziel and Bortles has put a lot of pressure on Bridgewater for that top spot, pressure which he did not do anything to alleviate with his performance at his Pro Day.

He showed some good footwork most of the times, but the wobbly balls on the run left a bad taste in the scouts’ mouths. Now the people who are pushing for Bridgewater to be the top overall QB taken have used the Peyton Manning comparison in regards to the balls not being the tightest spirals–but let’s be honest, there’s only one Peyton.
