2014 NFL Draft: Ranking Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater after Pro Days

4 of 4

1) Blake Bortles

When it comes down to it, Bortles did enough to solidify himself as worthy enough of being the top overall quarterback selected. The 6-5, 230-pounder went out in his Pro Day last week and showed everything you want in a potential franchise QB. In addition to his prototypical size, Bortles displayed tremendous footwork in the pocket and has enough mobility to avoid the ever-increasing speed of the pass rushers in today’s NFL world.

If the Texans and O’Brien are looking for someone to build their franchise around, which the trade of Matt Schaub has indicated, then Bortles is their man.
