NFL Rumors: St. Louis Rams GM says Sam Bradford is ahead of rehab schedule (Audio)
By Jack Crosby
If you can ask St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead what he wants the most this season, one of his top answers would probably be for a healthy Sam Bradford throughout the season to run the offense. Well, on Sirius XM Radio on Thursday, he wasn’t asked that specifically, but he was asked about Bradford and he let it be known that their franchise QB is ahead of schedule on his rehab.
Bradford suffered the knee injury last season in a game against the Carolina Panthers and required surgery that ended his season. Even dating back to his days as an Oklahoma Sooner, Bradford has had injury concerns, but as his career progresses, they become more and more alarming.
It’s become so alarming that during this free agency period, the team has been linked to several quarterbacks on the market, although they have yet to pull the trigger on signing anything.
They may just put all of their eggs into the basket of Bradford this season. But if it doesn’t work out, then you can bet they may look for a replacement at some point next year.
