The Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals are among the teams that could sign free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson, but according to reports from beat writers that follow those teams, neither one wants to.

Per the Chicago Tribune:

"The Bears currently have no interest in pursuing receiver DeSean Jackson, a league source said Friday after the Eagles released the three-time Pro Bowler."

Kent Somers also noted that the interest level form the Cardinals in Jackson is similarly non existent.

It’s not surprising that not everyone is enamored by the idea of signing Jackson as even if the gang connection isn’t there, he’s still demonstrated that he can be a headache to deal with. Both teams could use Jackson but just about any team can use a speedy 27-year old receiver in his prime.

But not everything is determined by need in the NFL these days and that’s being proven with the DeSean Jackson situation.
