Los Angeles Lakers’ center Chris Kaman has been very upset with his roll this season.

He came to Los Angeles with the thought that he would replace Dwight Howard in the starting lineup. Things simply haven’t worked out for either side and Kaman has voiced his frustration.

Things, however, did go well for Kaman on Sunday.

Filling in for Pau Gasol, who is battling vertigo, Kaman scored 28 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and dished out six assists to lead the Lakers to a 115-99 victory over the Phoenix Suns at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California.

Jodie Meeks added 22 points while Kendall Marshall had 13 points and 11 assists, Ryan Kelly scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds and Kent Bazemore added 12 points, six rebounds and five assists.

The Lakers got off to a quick start, taking a 26-15 lead into the second quarter. They exploded for 35 points in the second to take a 61-43 lead into the break and the route was on from there.

Gerald Green led the Suns with 22 points.

Goran Dragic had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists, Markieff Morris scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds and Marcus Morris had 15 points, six rebounds and four steals in the loss.

The Lakers are now 25-48 and the Suns are 44-30.
