
It looked like the New Orleans Saints could lose veteran linebacker Parys Haralson.
Haraslon remained unsigned for the first few weeks of free agency and was drawing interest from other teams, including the Green Bay Packers.
Haralson, however, will be returning to the Saints, according to the official website of the team.

Saints’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis made the announcement on Tuesday.
Haralson was originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 140th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. After playing in just seven games as a rookie, the former Tennessee Volunteers’ standout caught on in his second season, playing in all 16 games. and recording 42 tackles and 2.5 sacks. A year later, he had a career-high eight sacks.
Just before the 2013 season, the 49ers traded Haralson to the Saints.
Haralson appeared in all 16 games for the Saints and made 30 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
