Sacramento Kings big man Reggie Evans is widely considered to be a “glue guy” around the league, thanks to his rebounding and energy level, but on Monday night, his actions led to the unfortunate consequence of a fine.
NBA has fined Kings' Reggie Evans $15,000 for elbow to Anthony Davis' face last night. Earned every penny, & acted like knucklehead after.

For visual evidence, here is a look at the actions that Evans displayed in elbowing Anthony Davis (scroll through the first 27 seconds, if you must), and the ensuing damage that likely increased his fine.
It probably didn’t help Evans that his altercation took place with one of the league’s fastest rising stars in Anthony Davis, but regardless of that, you can’t do what Evans did. He certainly would have been fined even before his “classy” exit to the floor, but after that, the number likely rose considerably.
The 33-year-old power forward from Iowa is having a typical “Reggie Evans” season, averaging 6.2 rebounds per game in just 16.2 minutes of action, but this particular action was seemingly out of character for the 11-year veteran, and that is certainly unfortunate. On the bright side, he escaped a suspension that could have easily been levied.
