2014 NFL Free Agency: Tennessee Titans re-sign Chris Spencer
The Tennessee Titans decided to bring back one of their own free agents on Wednesday, agreeing to a deal with center/guard Chris Spencer, according to the team’s official twitter account.
Pat Kuharsky, who covers the Titans for ESPN’s NFL Nation, mentioned that Spencer could be an option, but saw that as more of a “fallback plan.”
"The Titans hosted Mike McGlynn before he signed in Washington.Wednesday, they are having former Falcons lineman Garrett Reynolds, former Jaguars lineman Uche Nwaneri and former Steelers/Saints/Broncos lineman Eric Olsen in for visits.Tennessee is set with Andy Levitre as left guard, Brian Schwenke as center and Chance Warmack at right guard. The only other interior lineman on the roster is Tyler Horn, who was on the practice squad in 2013."
Spencer was a first round pick (26th overall) of the Seattle Seahawks in 2006. He joined the Titans prior to the 2013 season.
