High Five/low five
Daily Fantasy can be quite the grind! Let us do the grinding for you with “High Five/Low Five”. Each day, we help put you in the money by presenting you with FIVE “top-tier” plays, as well as some of the top “value plays”. Sacramento Kings’ C DeMarcus Cousins flies high as Wednesday’s top play.
Let’s rip it up
Point Guard: Kemba Walker, CHA ($7,900): Normally, I don’t like to take Kemba Walker anywhere but at home. However, a matchup vs. the Philadelphia 76ers has swayed me. The 76ers have been bad all year vs. PGs and tonight should be no different. I’m expecting 35 FPs or more.
Value Play: Greivis Vasquez, TOR ($4,100): Kyle Lowry is out tonight, so Vasquez should get the start and has a nice matchup vs. the Houston Rockets.
Shooting Guard: DeMar DeRozan, TOR ($7,900): I really like DeRozan in this spot tonight, now that Lowry is out. Expect him to take on a larger share of the offense than he normally does against the middling defense of James Harden. Joe Johnson performed well in this spot last night and I suspect DeRozan to do the same. 35-40 FPs seems like a safe bet.
Value Play: Terrence Ross, TOR ($4,300)
Small Forward: Rudy Gay, SAC ($7,700): This should be a very high scoring game, and I suspect Rudy Gay will be a large part of that. The Lakers are undermanned and weak against SF, so I’m predicting 35 FPs or more for Gay.
Value Play: Matt Barnes, LAC ($5,600)
Power Forward: Anthony Davis, NO ($11,000): Davis should be worth every penny tonight against the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are just 22nd vs. PFs and play at a high pace. Expect Davis to be the top performer of the night.
Also consider, Zach Randolph, MEM ($7,100)
Value Play: Jordan Hill, LAL ($5,200)
Center: DeMarcus Cousins. SAC ($10,100): Cousins should annihilate the Lakers this evening. Not only are they one of the worst teams in the league vs. opposing centers, but they are also likely to be without a few of their biggest bodies. Cousins could easily go for 60 FPs, if this game can remain competitive.
Value Play: Omer Asik, HOU ($4,800)
Thank you and good luck !!!
