The Tennessee Titans are expected to release Chris Johnson by the end of the week and there is one team that continues to come up when the topic of where he’ll land next is mentioned. While the Atlanta Falcons were once a landing spot, it appears that the New York Jets are most interested in him and that’s likely where he’ll visit first.
According to Jason La Canfora, the Jets are ready to ‘pounce’ on Johnson when he’s released.
Still expecting Chris Johnson's release to come this week. When it does, look for the Jets to pounce on the RB. Would be a strong fit

It now seems a matter if when, not if Chris Johnson will be cut by the Tennessee Titans but there’s no certainty he’ll land with the Jets. That being said, there’s a great possibility that he’ll wind up there as the Jets need a running game and adding Johnson to what is shaping up to be a powerful offensive attack to almost too good to pass up.
