The Los Angeles Clippers can never seem to catch a break as every time they get close to being good, something gets in the way. This year the injury bug has gotten the Clippers down and one of the first big blows was to free agent signing J.J. Redick.
Los Angeles’ plan was for Redick to provide a scoring threat while on the floor but his back injury put his season in doubt and he hasn’t played in what seems like forever. But according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, a return for Redick is being planned and it could happen as soon as tonight.

There’s no guarantee that Redick will indeed be back this week or even next week as it seemed not too long ago that the earliest he would return was the postseason. But the Clippers are jockeying for playoff positioning and having Redick back is never a bad thing.
