The road to the National Championship led both the Florida Gators and UConn Huskies to the Final Four but only one will be allowed admittance into the big game. While the Gators were the No. 1 seed in the tournament, the Huskies are the cinderella team as they crept out of a tough region and knocked off teams like Villanova, Iowa State and Michigan State to get where they were on Saturday.

They’ve now added the Florida Gators to their list of victims, beating Billy Donovan’s top squad

While seeding is important, swagger is even more important when you get this deep into the tournament and it’s a make or break sort of asset to have. UConn entered the tournament with a bad seed but gained the swagger that has taken them through the Final Four and to the national championship game.

One of the stars of the Huskies run has been point hard Shabazz Napier, who’s NBA Draft stock is starting to go through the roof. But while Napier is the star of the team’s run, others like forward DeAndre Daniels and guard Ryan Boatright have been an important part of the run as well.

It’s a run that will continue for as many games as the NCAA season will allow as while the Huskies entered the tournament a shaky 7-seed, they’re on to the final game of the basketball season with March Madness immortality on the line.
