The NFL Draft is right around the corner and teams still aren’t exactly sure who they want. Part of the indecision comes from the fact that no one really knows how things are going to shakeup, but draft strategies are starting to be sketched in pencil by mostly everyone.

For the Oakland Raiders, the No. 5 pick is still up in the air as any number of players could be available when they get called to the podium in May. According to beat writer Vic Tafur, the Raiders are currently high on both Sammy Watkins and Khalil Mack.

Of course, there’s no saying that either Watkins or Mack will be on the board at No. 5 which highlights the confusion and anxiety about this draft class. It’s being called a ‘deep’ class because it’s exciting to mock the picks but the excitement seems to be coming from confusion and not the talent.
