Although a torn ACL has kept teams from potentially addressing the true value of LSU Tigersā quarterback Zach Mettenberger, there are several teams very interested in him.
According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Mettenberger visited with the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders Tuesday and will see several more teams.
LSU QB Zach Mettenberger met/will meet with the Raiders and Patriots today, will meet with the Vikings tomorrow. Throws tomorrow too.

Those, however, are far from the only teams interested in Mettenberger.
Mettenberger also goes to Jacksonville on Thursday, and Lions come to Baton Rouge to see him Saturday.

Mettenberger meeting with the Jaguars, Raiders and Vikings is easy to figure out ā all three teams would like to develop a young quarterback.
The Patriots have worked out several quarterbacks and appear to be interested in finding the heir to Tom Brady soon, perhaps in this seasonās draft.
The Lions, who have 26-year old Matt Stafford at the helm, seem a little out of place, but every team needs a good backup plan.
Mettenberger completed 192 of 296 passes for 3,082 yards with 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions last season.
