TCU Horned Frogs’ cornerback Jason Verrett has been one of the more talked about prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Verrett could not participate in a lot of earlier draft related activities because of his recovery from surgery due to a torn labrum. There has also been talk of him making the switch to wide receiver, but that seems to have died down.

Verrett has plenty of potential as a cornerback and he has had several suitors leading up to May’s draft.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and the NFL Network, Verrett worked out for the Atlanta Falcons on Friday and already had workouts with both the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers.

Verrett looks like a second round pick at the moment.  Verrett had 117 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and nine interceptions in 28 career games for TCU.

Verrett has also visited with Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets.
