After the Michigan Wolverines made another deep run into the NCAA Tournament before bowing out to Aaron Harrison and Kentucky, it was widely expected there would be a few high-profile defections to the 2014 NBA Draft, and there is a report circulating that Glenn Robinson III will be one of them.
The 6-foot-6 sophomore forward has been a hit-or-miss player throughout his time in Ann Arbor, but Robinson III stepped up in a big way during the NCAA Tournament (scoring 13+ points in all four games), and that has certainly helped his draft stock. ESPN currently lists “the little Dog” as the #34 player overall in this draft class, while Draft Express is a little lower on him as the #44 overall player.
Still, Robinson III is one of the best pure athletes in this class, and his bloodlines are undeniable, as his dad was the #1 overall pick to the Milwaukee Bucks. It is important to note that Robinson III has not corroborated this report to this point, but if Jake Fischer’s assertion that GRIII has signed with an agent is true, his college eligibility evaporates. Stay tuned.
