It’s just been that type of year for the hapless Orlando Magic, as the team has had zero interest in winning since the middle of the season and have been in full-on tank mode for a large par of the year. But while they’ve been trying to lose, it doesn’t get anymore embarrassing than scoring on your own basket in the process and that’s what happened on Sunday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
If you’re a fan of the Magic, you amy want to avert your eyes if they haven’t been already:
This clearly wasn’t deliberate and no one is going to a cause the Magic of purposefully scoring on their own basket but that somehow would have made this situation a whole lot better.
Still, the Magic aren’t in a good place right now and still have another game left to be played before their season mercifully comes to an end. While we never thought we’d say it, but here’s to hoping the Magic score on the right basket in their season finale.
