The Cincinnati Bengals may have lost their defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer to the Minnesota Vikings, but that doesn’t mean the interest in adding defensive stars of the future left with him. Cincinnati may be down a defensive coordinator but their most pressing issue is making sure that defense doesn’t allow more points than the offense can score in the postseason.
According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, the Bengals are showing an interest in Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard and have even visited with him already.
#MichiganState CB Darqueze Dennard, one of the draft’s top CBs, visited #Bengals today and yesterday, source says. Will he be there at 24?

The Bengals need improvements all around the roster but picking up one of the top cornerbacks in the draft isn’t a bad place to start. Cincinnati may just be doing due diligence as well, but Dennard is an interesting option for them and one that they’re clearly considering.
