The majority of the questions surrounding the Houston Texans and what they intend to do with their number one overall pick in the NFL Draft next month tend to center around whether they will take one of the big three quarterbacks or the freak himself, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
But is there a chance that they could take a serious look at maybe beefing up their protection on the offensive line by taking top offensive tackle prospect Greg Robinson?
According to Ian Rapoport, that possibility shouldn’t be ignored by any means.
#Texans are weighing all options at No. 1. They host Auburn OT Greg Robinson next week. Related note: Jonathan Ogden played LG as a rookie

I mention Ogden because #Texans have a franchise LT in Duane Brown. That may not stop them from taking an elite talent like Greg Robinson

Robinson truly is considered an elite talent, and with the way that Bill O’Brien likes to run his offense with the traditional quarterback drop backs, you would have to imagine that he’s seriously considering some offensive line help, and they don’t come much better than Robinson.
O’Brien has already stated that the team will take a quarterback in the draft, he just never said at what point. Taking Robinson in the first round and then grabbing one of the talented signal callers that are projected as second round picks can definitely happen.
