Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing had his season ended early twice in a row. In 2012 his season ended with a torn ACL on the road, and in 2013 his season ended in week 7 when he broke his fibula and tore his LCL. All in all he has played in just 12 games in two seasons.
Between those injuries though, Cushing managed to recover in time for the start of the 2013 season and was playing well. He is looking to do the same heading into the 2014 season and tweeted out that he is 100 percent with the hashtag “clear.”
Cushing had said in early January that he needed another two months of rehab, and it has been three months since than so Cushing appears to have not rushed returning or getting cleared.
Quick Trip to Pensacola with my lead blocker, better believe I'm 100% #beachday #cleared #fivesixback… http://t.co/biuaeMS887
