NHL Playoffs 2014, Flyers at Rangers: live stream, start time, TV info and more
By Josh Sanchez
For the eleventh time in Stanley Cup Playoffs history, the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers will be facing off. The series kicks off on Wednesday night with the Rangers holding home ice at Madison Square Garden, and the team is hoping to get off to a hot start and take advantage of the fact that they will be playing in front of their home fans.
“Game 1 is the most important game we’re going to play,” Rangers head coach Alan Vigneault said, via ESPN.com. “Both teams want to get off on the right foot. If you look at all the comparisons — power play, penalty-killing, five on five, goaltending — there is so little separating us.
“It’s going to come down to good preparation on our part and the players’ part. It’s going to come down to the players going out and executing. I believe we’re going through the right process right now, and I really believe our guys want to win.
