On Saturday night, boxing fans are in for a treat with an exciting championship triple-header on Showtime. In the second of three title fights, IBF welterweight champion Shawn “Showtime” Porter (23-0-1, 14 KO) puts his title on the line against two-time world champion Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi (33-5, 7 KO).

Porter had an impressive win in his last outing against Devon Alexander when he was able to secure the belt, but he has a tough test in front of him in the always dangerous Malignaggi, so it will be interesting to see if he can come away victorious and finally get the respect that many believe he deserves but has yet been able to find.

In the main event, IBF title holder Bernard Hopkins and WBA champion Beibut Shumenov will be facing off in a title unification bout. Before Hopkins vs. Shumenov and Porter vs. Malignaggi, BO middleweight champion Peter Quillin will defend his belt against Lukas Konecny.
